Removing the old driveway

We broke out the old resin driveway and removed the material using an excavator and grab lorry.

A new 200mm sub-base

We prepared the ground and installed a 200mm-deep sub-base beneath the laying course and paving.

The 200mm refers to the sub-base, not total excavation depth. The laying course and blocks sit above it.

The sub-base, laying course and joints form a permeable system, allowing water through the driveway construction.
